Supervision
Supervision is a relationship where you can explore your work with clients in depth. The end goal is to ensure the best interests of the client. In doing this, exploration of your own process as well as that of your clients’ will be paramount. Supervision will be a place for you to develop and grow as well as a place where we assess risk and safeguarding needs. We will work with theory and skills as well as self-reflection and awareness.
My Training, Modalities and ways of working
I am an Integrative Humanistic Therapist and Supervisor. I hold an Advanced (Level 6) Certificate in Clinical Supervision. In terms of Counselling theory, I draw predominantly on Person Centred, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Existential theories, woven together with attachment theory and a relational and immediate way of working. I also use CBT in my practice where appropriate and I am trained to work with trauma/am trauma informed.
My Supervision training and practice follows the Seven-eyed Model. I believe that using this Supervision model to guide my practice enables a holistic approach to Supervision to reflect on your client work as well as your own development as a counsellor. I am challenging in a nurturing way with both my clients and supervisees.
I have been a Tutor of Therapeutic Counselling at Diploma level for 4 years, which gives me a lots of experience and understanding of working with Counselling Students on Placement as well as facilitating groups.
I work as a Counsellor in Private Practice with Adults only. I do not work with Children or Couples so would be unable to Supervise this work.
My Fees & Availability
I can offer clinical Supervision in Banbury and online as per below:
Mondays (Online only), Thursday (Online/Banbury), Friday (Online/Banbury)
Students/Newly Qualified Counsellors: 2x45minutes per month for £70 (£35 per session)
Fully Qualified Counsellors: £60 for 1 hour, £90 for 1.5 hours
