Annalee Daniels
BA (Hons), Dip. Counselling (L5) MBACP (Accred) Advanced Certificate Clinical Supervision (L6)
I am a qualified and MBACP (Accred) Counsellor working from the Banbury and North Oxfordshire Therapy Practice and The Wellbeing Centre in Brackley, Northamptonshire. I also offer Online and Telephone Counselling. I have an Honours Degree in Psychology (GMBPsS), a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and a Level 6 in Clinical Supervision.
I work as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist in private practice, with experience of working with a wide range of issues. I am Trauma informed and I have specialist training in complex bereavement. My background includes several years volunteering with a Bereavement Service, where I worked with NHS-referred patients, offering counselling support for those who have experienced the death of someone close, often in complex and traumatic circumstances.
From 2025 I am undertaking further training – a Level 5 Diploma in working with Children and Young People. As part of this I am able to provide counselling for Children and Young People (Age 11-17) at a lower cost. Please contact me for more details.
Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked in commercial roles for various large organisations, so I also have a good understanding of the workplace environment and associated dynamics. I am particularly interested in how historical family relationships can impact us in our present relationships at work, at home and in social situations.
I am also a Counselling Diploma Tutor at Banbury Counselling Academy and a Clinical Supervisor
As well as working with clients face to face in Banbury and Brackley, I can also offer Telephone and Online Counselling, for which I am ACTO certified
As an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred), I work to their Ethical Framework which guides me to work safely and ethically within a counselling relationship. I attend regular Clinical Supervision to safeguard my practice as well as professional development days to enhance my skills and maintain my professional standards. I am DBS cleared.
